On May 16, 2018 at about 2030 hours, a female pedestrian was struck by an unknown eastbound vehicle, while walking on the south side of Lower Buckeye Road about 1/2 mile west of 127th Avenue near Avondale, AZ.  The pedestrian suffered extremely serious injuries and is in critical condition at a local hospital.

The vehicle fled the scene of the incident.  The vehicle will probably have damage to it's front end to include the headlight, front quarter panel(s), grill, bumper, and hood.  The vehicle may also have damage to the windshield.

Evidence located at the scene lead investigators to believe the vehicle is a 2004 to 2008 Ford F-150 pickup truck or Expedition SUV.  The color, exact model, and/or cab size, etc. is unknown at this time.
